Introduction:
- A retaining wall is a structure to support land and blocked against landslides and sand landslides as well as to minimize spaces and surfaces by gaining the surfaces of embankments that moved from one material to another.
- Reinforced concrete masonry or other materials that can be used for the realization of this type of works.
- Gabions, piles, sheet piling are different types of supports too.
- Sometimes two or three slope stability techniques are used in combination.
- The range of the slope heights supported by the retaining walls is generally between 0 and 8 meters in height.
