Brian Cox is not from CERN... He is from the University of Manchester...

He's not "from" CERN or "from" The University of Manchester. I said "of" CERN. Which would imply he worked there. Which he claims he has.
Is that OK?

Some people are paid by CERN to work there and are CERN employees. Other scientists are paid by their own universities, like U. Manchester in the case of B. Cox case, and go there once in a while to work. This is the case of more than 10.000 people actually.

Stating "B. Cox of CERN" instead of "B. Cox of U. Manchester" is not super nice for U. Manchester, if you see what I mean... ;)

PS: xxx from institute yyy is a usual way to talk.

Just as a matter of interest? Do you ever get tired or being an asshole?

What? Why do you insult me? This guy works in the same field as I do. I don't see where are my interests in there, except to make things accurate?

What pissed me off was, I posted a video that I thought was funny. In order for me to get others to see it, I put the word "CERN" in the headline. Some people in this world don't know where t.f. Manchester is. So, maybe they might know what CERN is. Bottom line. I don't care where Brian Cox works or lives or shits, I put up a video for others to get a laugh. So Laugh or don't , I just hate nit pickers. If I insulted you I'm sorry.

why do you make it personal? @lemouth was merely trying to point out inconsistencies in your reasoning. should you agree with that? no, you dont have to. you can ignore him, which may be more lucrative than insulting the person. it does not show courtesy.
