LIFE AND SCIENCE: Would Earth Be Earth Without Gravity?

Gravity is majorly known as the force of attraction between two objects, the earth is also classified as one of these objects considering the fact that it has a definite mass. It is gravitational force that keeps all objects, houses and cars and so many more from all floating in space. It also keeps the earth and other planets rotating in their orbits around the sun.
Ignoring physics and science we could imagine what would happen if the Earth’s gravitation was suddenly turned off. Although this would never happen considering the earth is made up of a constant mass and a change in gravity can only be brought about by a change in the mass of an object.
A change in the Earth’s mass would not only bring about a change in gravity but also the Earth itself would break away into chunks and would all float away.

Everything not stuck in place from cars, to furniture's and even pencils would have no reason to stay down.
The water in the oceans, lakes and rivers even the air in the atmosphere and anything not rooted solidly to the ground would have no reason to hang around and would all vanish into space.
The fact that our bodies are also held together by gravity, the horror would be short lived as all humans and living organisms would all die off due to lack of atmosphere and water.

The sun would burst open in an explosion because of intense core pressure and the moon would also float into space.
essentially, there would be no earth without gravity as it is the most important force ever. The Universe would be completely featureless and flat and there would be no satellites, stars or moon to dazzle the mind.
