The Petite Goose Pagoda in June
If you find yourself in Xi'an during the summer, a visit to the Petite Goose Pagoda to witness its hydrangeas is indispensable. The ancient pagoda, standing amidst a sea of pink and violet hydrangeas, evokes a sense of the splendor of the Tang Dynasty.
Directions ➡️ The Petite Goose Pagoda is located 5 kilometers from the Great Goose Pagoda. Alight at the Nan Shaomen subway station and proceed on foot.
Guidance ➡️ Entry is permitted by reservation only and is free of charge. Upon entering the scenic area, proceed along the path, then turn into the courtyard on the left, where the hydrangeas await (see the final map). The optimal times for photography are in the morning and near sunset. Light-colored clothing is recommended. In addition to the hydrangeas, the adjacent lawns, mature trees, and antique architecture exude an ethereal, ancient charm, providing numerous opportunities for stunning photographs, and most importantly, there are few crowds!
