Genuine question:
If you think steemit / @ned is scammy and EOS @dan is scammy , what motivates you to stick around Steemit/ hold STEEM?

Damn it. Your avatar just lost an appeal :(

Steem is not that centralized IMHO :)

Great question, PLEASE @Berniesanders I would love to hear a response.

that's not a great question. steem is not steem inc.

Isn't Steem ( blockchain tech/currency) developed by Steem inc ?

Yes , they are separate but they are connected too , from what I can tell.

Well just in this month he has transfered more than 87,000 STEEM to bittrex.

Still quite active and vested , won't you say ?

EOS uses stake-voting, right?

So why is there such a big problem with reaching 15% votes when 90% of the supply is shared under such a small number of people (1.6%).

Are the wealthy guys too lazy to vote or what?

I'm guessing it's because even they're smart enough to not release shitty, buggy code...

@berniesanders Bitch stop crying for awhile ... If you don't like get the fuck out of here drug addict ..

Benie the cock sucker.jpg

probably not wanting to flaunt their centralisation.

I like that you are willing to rock the boat Bernie and I laugh every time I read one of your posts and the way it is written. That is why I have upvoted this post but I question the validity of that article and why it would seem that EOS is so centralized at this given moment.

For one even technical people were a little frightened at the registration process for the ERC-20 tokens and how easy it would be to recover the snapshot coins on the mainnet. There were a lot of unknowns. So a lot more people who still wanted to keep a position probably kept their coins on the exchange so they didn't have to go through that process. So however the exchanges like Kraken, Binance, HitBTC were keeping their wallets and registering then yeah it would look like large amounts were held by a small percentage because those are the exchanges.

I'm not saying everything is perfect with this launch but personally I feel like I had a fair opportunity to commit the capital I was comfortable with over the past year to the project. I don't feel the same way about STEEM.....I always felt it was impossible to "catch up" with other people on this platform.

My new theory is that you might not be @ned but a Canadian ex pat living in Thailand in a mansion overlooking a tropical beach. My clue is you have said "eh" in a couple of your posts.

Just usual bollocks from people who claim to want a fairer society. They do, as long as their share is fairer than anyone else's....and they still get to control it.
There is scant little difference between this brave new world of crypto and the traditional markets it wants to replace. Its no more than an attempt at a transfer of power rather than a removal of power.

Well, its emplacing us within a technocracy. Which is at least better than a corporatocracy.

In what way is it better ? I personally think its infinitely worse. Information and data is the most powerful commodity on earth. Why do I wish to be governed by people who can control this data on a whim using technology I could never hope to understand? IQ should not be a measure of power and hence, control.
Until someone comes up with a more viable and sharing alternative, I'll run with the 'better the devil I know' adage.

I personally think its infinitely worse.

Corporations are agnostic toward moralism to a point of deprecation of society. Basically its no different than a technocracy but it lacks any of the potentially good aspects a technocracy can provide. A technocracy will tend to follow some kind of moral code on some kind of fundamental level. While a corporatocracy has zero issue with turning your dad into soylent green to increase profits by 1%.

IQ should not be a measure of power and hence, control.

There is nothing we can do about this. Its always going to be the fundamental rudiment of power. Those who are smarter will always be more powerful than those who are not.

Agree,, to begin with we must realize that the "democracy" dream has failed and has evolved into a "Oligarchy". I correct this, the first step is getting rid of the "Bought out" corporate representatives in Congress and replace them with currently "Unbought"reps. Then to realize that the "Founding Fathers" never mentioned "Democracy in either the Declaration of Independence or the Constitution. They were very clear that this was to be a "Republic" which would be led under the "Rule of Law" not purely by "Majority Rule"...

The first step is to look at such issues in a global context and remember there are more countries on this planet than the US.
Specific to your reply, Id wonder why you base all your US history from the point of your Founding fathers onwards ? The world is much older than that.

Because when I speak about things to do with American Citizens I try giving the "History" required for that instance. If I were an expert in, say,, India(?) I would generally speak about Gandhi and the colonialism of Great Britain, but I am not, so I only try influencing my own citizenry... United States was born, not in 1776, but rather 1765 when the Declaration of Independence was first written.

And this:

EOS (EOS) might not be the best cryptocurrency for you if you like to HODL it for long or forget about it for years. The accounts of the EOS blockchain members would be terminated if they do not use their tokens to use for three years

https://bcfocus.com/altcoin/eos-eos-will-be-confiscating-tokens-that-are-being-hodl-for-too-long/14000/

Lol.

That is not appropriate on EOS part. I'll sell at first opportunity.

this is a crazy red flag. Enough for me to not be interested at all anymore.

Really??? wowwwwwww looks like i need to sell some eos

Decentralised in name, but controlled by a consortium of a few people through token distribution, so de facto quite centralised, only without the efficient infrastructure of a completely centralised system controlled by a consortium of a few banks.

Oh, to be able to buy such a coin; aren't we the lucky ones.

There go my last voters.

LOL. And they want my minnow vote for official launch. Epic fail :P.

Isn't it the same with real fiat money?

Funny you should ask that given that's exactly what the creator has always spoke out about...

That is just unfair and unreasonable is every way possible above and beneath the end.
EOS is being controlled like a puppet more than any top coin I've seen

I give Dan a year before he ditches EOS to create the next (insert market leader here*)-killer.

A year? He's probably already making it.

Isn't that the steem 2.0 he plans?

Who knows? The common denominator is shady.
