Most likely the only scam here is someone trying to get a vote out of you by spamming you on steemit chat. To be sure go to https://chat.steemit.com directly not via any link, log in with your steemit chat password not your steemit password (if they are the same you need to change you steemit password asap you should only be using that for steemit). you probably have a pm from that person there.
