I found a phishing link comment on a good friend's post today:

If you get a notice like this from this account, do not fall for it.

The link redirects to a fake Steemit site (check URL) where it has been made to appear that your content has been copied. A prompt to enter your password immediately pops up.

Here is the comment with the phishing link to flag: https://steemit.com/poetry/@lezly/re-prufarchy-a-migrant-from-a-distant-source-original-20180622t220129948z

Sort:

Scamming people get increasingly creative. Imagine if people would be as creative when it comes to actually interesting topics aside from getting money out of people.

Anyway, whenever you see something like this, keep flagging. On the screen shot, she already had a <25 Reputation score which is good, but it should be even lower so that people can't even see that account in the first place anymore.

Christ these ppl piss me off. Thanks for the heads up.

Lol. You are pretty fucking intense, @lucylin. Can't say I don't share the sentiment, though ;)

intense?...mmmm....I don't see it, myself, but it has been mentioned in dispatches!
😂

Thanks for the information, I'm going to resteem so that others know.

These days the wave of scammers grows, I tried to cheat in the chat discord, where they pretended to be the administrator of an account, I was offered to be curator, today I must be careful in all movements

thank you!! useful info!

Wow, that's shady boots. Thanks for alerting us.
