Being a member of a church gives you a sense of belonging
Every human being needs to feel part of something bigger than himself. This is the case with Christians. This is one of the great blessings of being a member of a church and of participating in its activities. It gives one a sense of belonging and purpose.
The book of Hebrews 10:25 tells us that the congregation is of the utmost importance and we are given the counsel of "not ceasing to gather together as some are accustomed" and in Ephesians 4: 116, we are told how we should function as a church .
It is important to note that the church is made up of Christians who have come to Christ for salvation
The purpose of congregations is for believers to come together to enjoy communion with other Christians and thereby strengthen themselves in faith and worship.
We are by definition a church with a mission, we have a mission clearly expressed in the word and ordered by it; we must make disciples of all nations, preach the gospel to every creature to do his work effectively.
In the church we can develop our faith in praise and worship in addition to receiving blessings, for it is established that when we live together and in harmony there, it sends the blessing and eternal life.
Also when we attend church our sense of belonging develops, then, having a bond with others feeds us to grow spiritually until we reach the grace and favor of God.
Excellent quote here" when we attend church our sense of belonging develops, then, having a bond with others feeds us to grow spiritually until we reach the grace and favor of God." Thanks for sharing with us.
