Bangabandhu Satellite Launch May 10

BTRC chief Shahjahan Mahmud, the telecommunications regulatory body, said the new date has been fixed on 10th May for Bangabandhu Satellite Launch of Bangladesh's first artificial satellite after a few points.

He told on Monday that the test has already been completed to launch Bangabandhu satellite. There are all right there.

"If the weather is favorable and there is no technical complexity, then SPACEX tells us to launch the Florida Eastern Timezone on May 10 at 4pm."

US-based private space exploration and technology company 'SpaceX' will use a launch pad from the launch pad in Cape Verdeville, Florida, a Falcon-9 Block Five Rocket.

The new rocket's static fire test is completed in the Kennedy Space Center in Florida on May 4, according to a tweet, SpaceX.

Geospatial communication satellite weighing 3,500 kg will run towards Falcon-9 orbit with the Bangabandhu's historic launch complex at Kennedy Space Center 39. Apollo-11 was launched in 1969 at Chandravani, from this launch complex.

BTRC chief Shahjahan Mahmud is heading towards Florida on Monday evening to launch Bangabandhu satellite.

He told bdnews24.com that weathering and technical matters are very important in these cases, although all preparations have been made for 10 days. There are many incidents, where at the very last stage of Countdown, the launch has to be postponed.

Bangabandhu Satellite has been built in France's Talis Elinya Space Facility. After the construction, examination, review and transfer, it is sent on the special cargo plane by the launch of the Cape Purchase Vehicle.

For the launch of satellites, the first date is December 16, but due to massive damage to Hurricane Arma in Florida, it is back.
Then the possible date for the launch was kept on 4th May. But at the end of April, post, telecommunications and IT minister Mustafa Jabber said that the launch has been delayed till at least 7 May.

Because the weather is not favorable, the date is again back to May 10.

The government hopes, the cost of launching this satellite will be saved, at present, that costs $ 14 million for foreign satellite rentals.

There will be 40 transponders in the Bangabandhu satellite, 20 of which will be kept for use in Bangladesh and the rest will be possible to earn foreign currency.
