Introduction
Step One
- So for this we would first need the recipe of the coleslaw salad we will use the recipe that is given in the challenge by @dasudi

- After the recipe now it time to get the ingredients for that i went to a mall call HBK and bought all of the ingredient from there and i wash fully and clearly cause they have sprayed different kinds of insecticide
so all that can be removed from the ingredient
- To make things easier for myself, i decided to place all the ingredient and dressing together on a single table. this way everything was with in my reach . allowing me to prepare the dish more efficiently with out running around.. it saved time and kept the entire cooking process more organised and smooth.
Step 2
- Now we begin by cutting the cabbage into julienne style,thing, long strips that look neat and uniform. once the cabbage is sliced we splash a bit of vinegar over it to add some flavour and help soften its texture. let it sit for about 10 to 20 minutes so it can absorb the tangy taste properly.
- Peel and wash the carrot thoroughly to remove any dirt. using the coarsest side of a grater. shred the carrot into thick, textured pieces. Alternatively you can julienne it into thin strips if preferred, depending on the texture or look you want to receive for the dish as it would make it look way better .
- Wash and peel the apple carefully to remove any extra dirt and skin. Once clean,cut it into thin julienne strips for a crisp texture. After slicing set the apple aside to keep it ready for mixing later, ensuring it stay fresh and doesn t brown quickly.
- Once i have cut all of the ingredients in julienne thin and long strips I placed them all together so i could use them with out having any problem and running around wasting my time .
Step 3
- Prepare the dressing in a bowl by adding mayonnaise , heavy cream,mustard and a splash of lemon juice. mix everything up thoroughly until well combined and smooth. This creamy blend add rich flavour and ties all the salad ingredient together perfectly with a tangy smooth finish.
- Now we will add salt and sugar and mix it up thoroughly until it is fully mixed up and then check the flavour of and see how it tastes .
Step 4
- It s time to take a large mixing bowl and begin assembling the salad. Add the prepared ingredient one by one starting with the cabbage then the grated or julienned carrot after that also add the julienne style cut apple . Gently toss them together to ensure an even mix before adding the rest of the element.
- After that we will add the dressing to the ingredient and we will mix it thoroughly until it it is fully mixed and ready to be eaten
Now we will mix it fully and thoroughly until all the ingredient evenly combined creating a smooth and well blended mixture this step ensures that every bite has the perfect balance of flavour and texture throughout the entire dish. keep mixing until satisfied. Once done let it rest about a minute or two so the flavour can settle in and the taste will become better .
- Now finally this coleslaw salad has been made .

I ate this salad both as a side dish and a main dish.
As a side dish it work well alongside grilled meat,sandwiches or rice dishes. Adding a fresh crunchy and tangy contrast that balanced richer flavour. it didt over power the main meal but added a touchy and crunchy taste.

Benefit of the coleslaw salad
- coleslaw sald contain cabbage and carrot which are rich in vitamin C and K ,Fiber and antioxidants that support immune health and digestion.
The Fiber in coleslaw help which help to improve bowel moment and also keep the digestive track healthy .
It is also a low calorie , when it made with light dressing it becomes a healthy low calorie side dish that fits well into balanced diet and the people that are trying to lose weight.
The Optional ingredient I added
The optional ingredient I added was one green apple and 2 tablespoon of cream .
I added the green apple as the optional ingredient cause i really like the taste of green apples and they are really good for your health , they are rich in Fiber which help in digestion and keep you feeling full longer,it also contain antioxidants which reduce cholesterol and support healthy blood pressure.
The next optional ingredient that i added was to table spoon of cream because i like the texture of cream and with salad cream is always very good option for taste and texture both. Cream is high is healthy fat which gives energy to the body and it is also rich in vitamins like A,D,E and K which is essential for immunity ,vision and bone health.

Do I have any special tip for making this salad
- For a perfect coleslaw salad in an examination use fresh ingredient, cut vegetables uniformly and balance the dressing well. Don t over mix it can make it soggy.Taste and adjust seasoning before presenting. Keep it chilled and present neatly for fresh and clean look that can impress all the people around by it taste and texture as well.
