SLC25-W2 // "Russian Salad"
Hello friends I hope you are great today i am here to take part in another learning challenge SLC25-W2 // "Russian Salad"
Perhaps it's one of the favourite dish on different occasions especially in marriage and the festive.
Let's make the russian salad.
The ingredients I am using are as follows.
- Potato one
- Carrot 1
- Chicken baked and sliced one piece
- Corn boiled 50 grams
- Cucumber 1
- Cauliflower few leaves
- Dairy milk cream and black pepper
- Grapes one bunch
Let's make it.
Step 1
I take potato and carrot and boiled it till done and then chopped it well. After this I washed cucumber and cauliflower and cut it. I shredded the chicken and corns were already boiled.

Step 2
I take plate and added chopped carrots, potatoes, cucumber, grapes and corns. In next step I added shredded chicken and cauliflower too. All ingredients were added I mixed for homogeneous mixture.

I take bowl added cream and black pepper mixed it well and poured it over the salad mixture and mixed it well.

In your country, what variation do you typically add to Russian salad? Tell us about the flavor of your salad? Did it meet your expectations?
Well in our country it's highly versatile the seasonal fruits like apple, banana and pineapple along with red beans are essential ingredients especially in the marriage ceremony menu. But at home we added what is available like peas, beans, potatoes and boiled eggs in the winter.
Yeah it's taste was good my family really liked it moreover I have followed the instructions of respected professor for more good taste and overall it turned out yummy.

The carrot and potato both are good for health.
Few benefits are as follows.

- Carrot improving eye health
- Bring rich in Vitamin Carrot good for skin
- Carrot due to low glycemic acid doesn't raise sugar, diabetes patients can use it.

In my point of view the fresh cream enhanced it's taste more rather to use of mayonnaise. It gives more creamy and rich taste to the salad. If we kept few minutes in the refrigerator after making this salad the taste becomes more perfect.
Moreover the addition of seasonal fruits is good option because we can get more health benefits in one bowl of salad under control calories.
