Restoration project : "Siskiwit" A classic wooden sailing yacht part #1

	Designed by Jac.M.Iversen as the 12.6 mtr. x 3.00 mtr. " Havskryssare". Built by A.B. Iversen - batar S.A. boatyard at Nybrokajen 7 Stockholm, Sweden in the year 1949.
"Siskiwit of Bayfield"	A racing /cruising wooden sailing sloop
The sloop is planked with 1 1/8” African Mahogany carvel planking, tight seam ( no corking is used ). The frames are steam bent white oak. The keel consists of 8000 Lbs cast iron.	Sail Area: Main sail 44.2 m2, Jib 22,6 m2, Genoa 38,6 m2 and a generous size 93 m2 Spinnaker.

Dear reader, the restoration will cost a lot of Time, Love, Care and money too. But I think in the end it will be very statisfying. After sanding the underwater ship, a quick survey learned that at least 15% needs replanking.
