Travel to Montmartre and the Basilica de Sacre-Coeur, Paris France

"I haven't been everywhere, but it's on my list" Unknown Author

Paris, an endless and beautiful cityscapes composed of cobblestones and a breathtaking basilica de Sacre-Coeur. Reaching the top of Montmarte requires a bit of a climb along the stairs leading to the basilica. However, more climbing is required to reach the top of Sacre-Coeur, about 25 storeys high of winding dizzying stairs...

The white stone building is the Basilica de Sacre Coeur, it is the highest point in Paris at 83 meters high (roughly 25 stories high) connecting with the old village of Montmartre. This place is a sacred place of prayer and pilgrimage from the old years to today. The basilica is one of the most visited monuments in Paris.

Montmartre Street Performers. These artists are awesome and very friendly. As a musician myself, I can relate with the musical language and passion, and admiration towards fellow musicians.

Wander slowly as you make your way through the streets of Montmartre. The best way to explore is to get lost and make sure you have downloaded free Google offline maps of the entire Paris. Stroll around, sit outside cafe shop and watch people explore the place. La Place du Tertre is the painters square galleries, the artists here are world class painters, in fact Pablo Picasso lived and painted in these very cobblestone grounds...

Thanks @ananuaremere.. much appreciated 😎

Nice article and photos. Definetely, Sacre-Coeur should not be missed when you travel to Paris. I've been there a few times and I can not stop revisiting this place.

Thanks Alyna... Montmarte is my current favorite place to visit... narrow cobblestone streets and old boulangerie and best baguettes are found here... will definitely go back..
