Rinderrouladen
Rinderrouladen a German dinner

Potatoes 1,5 kg
3 Carrots
1 Leek
2 Onions
1/2 for the Rouladen
1 celery root
cook the potatoes
fry some bacon
fry the onions with salt pepper and sugar
cut some pickles
use thin pieces of topside or silverside beef
spread them with mustard
put the bacon, onions and pickles on the beef
i use olive oil
don´t forget salt and pepper
fry the vegetables
Deglaze with a little bit red wine
let it boil down and deglaze it again
use half a bottle of red wine
1 L beef stock
mash the potatoes with nutmeg, salt and pepper
i used 3 eggs
200g of cornflour
test dumpling
dumplings need 15 - 20 min
Rouladen need 1,5h on the lowest flame
stir sometimes
You can add some pickled red cabbage. Unfortunately i forgot it.
