War is black and white but a market gives us every colour of the rainbow.

I don't know if this image of a Syrian fruit vendor is real or not. I believe it is. Even if it's not, it's a wonderful Rorschach test and a beautiful bit of symbolism.
Do you see profiteering amidst the horrors of war, or do you see the ways in which markets can offer both sustenance and peaceful human interaction amidst the horrors of war?
What do I see? I see that war is in black and white, while the market gives us every colour of the rainbow.
