BANG: A game of cards and roles (ENG)

Yesterday was the birthday of Laura, a friend of the group of friends of all the life (school, institute...), we went to have dinner at Foster's Hollywood.

Afterwards, we were so full of food and tired to party, so we went home to play board games. We love it and almost every weekend we meet to play.

Yesterday we were playing BANG!

The Bang! is a card game set in the Far West. You can play from four to seven players.

The main feature of the game is that there are several roles: Sheriff, Bailiffs, Outlaws and a renegade.

Sheriff: Your role is the only one uncovered at the start of the game. The rest of the roles have to be guessed according to how each player acts.
Its objective is to finish off all the outlaws and the renegade in order to win the game.

Bailiff: The Sheriff's assistant (depending on the number of players there will be one or more). His objective is to protect the Sheriff and therefore to finish with the rest.

Outlaw: To win the game they have to kill the Sheriff.

Renegade: His objective is to be the last of the game,then he has to finished with everyone, first the outlaws and bailiffs, and later the Sheriff, since if he kills first the Sheriff the game is finished since the outlaws win.

Then, apart from your role, you have a character card, which gives you a different passive, there are many types and there are some very good and others not so good.

And then there's the game cards.
Each player has as many lifes as his character marks. Basically to take lifes from the rest you have to throw BANGs (first of all, you can only throw one bang per turn and to the players next to you, that is to say one away), and a BANG can be cancelled with a FAULT. If you don't have a fault, you lose a life.

Then there are other cards like the BEER, with which you recover a life. One DUEL, you challenge another player and you have to throw BANGS, the first one that doesn't have a bang loses a life.
The SALOON gives a life for everyone, but sometimes you have to see if, for example, it compensates you for winning a life yourself in exchange for a player who is opposed to you winning another life.

Finally there are also "weapons", which for example make you able to reach players at a greater distance, or throw as many bangs as you want per turn (initially it's only one bang and only to players next to you (to your left and right side)).

So is the little board of each player with lives, character and weapons...

It's a game that we discovered recently but that we love, since it mixes a small part of role, especially at the beginning when you don't know what role each player has (except the Sheriff) and if it's against you or goes with you.
A part of strategy of how to play the cards and how to play them with your teammates or not.
And the part of chance because your game depends partly on the player or cards you have been touched, whether you are sitting next to your opponents or not ...

There are also expansions of the game, since last weekend we have one but we have not yet tested it, we will see :D:D
