Rocket Launch of 40th Indian PSLV with Cartosat 2E
The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has successfully launched it's Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) rocket into orbit carrying the Cartosat 2E earth imaging satellite.
This was the 40th launch of a PSLV rocket since the inaugural launch in 1993. Liftoff took place at 03:59 UTC, June 23rd 2017 from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre in India.
The rocket also carried 30 secondary smaller payloads.
