The world's tiniest man-made 'monster'
According to the Science Daily, it was stated that the robotic beetle, named "#RoboFly" developed by the engineers of Washington University, is in the weight of a toothpick.
Thanks to a small circuit on RoboFly it was noted that the laser could turn the energy into electricity so that it could fly by flapping its wings.
Assoc. Sawyer Fuller, "Previously, we thought wireless, bug-sized flying robots were a science fiction, and the wireless RoboFly we developed shows that these robots are in real life."
Fuller said that this #robotic #bug, which costs a lot less, could go into places where #unmanned #aerial #vehicles could not enter and could be used to detect gas leaks.
