Tryingtodoart #18 - Blogging...a fling or just a bad habit?

in #ro7 years ago

Recently, I was having this talk with someone I just met. We were at that point where a lot of information has shared in the hope that something clicks.

Unfortunately, sometimes, I see attention span as being quite relative. Just like a sponge. Absorbs as much as it can, but when you apply an action to it, most of the content goes away.

But there are also some rare occasions when the information you receive get's engraved for a long time in your memory.

I'd like to tell you that this post is related to a very nice chat I had and about some tasty secrets I've been told, but no. In fact, this intro was only a parallel to how many starts I had in blogging. And how bad it feels. I don't know which one is a bad habit. The start or the quitting.

Funny thing is that I think I have at least a couple of posts about new starts. But they say that practice/repetition should make things (close to) perfect.

No matter how I put it, I'd love to think that this is THE START. But I am pretty damn sure that even this new attempt at being consistent with blogging it will be just a fling.

When asked if I blog...I was somehow ashamed to admit that I have a bunch of them, and listed a series of links, on various platforms. Started with Blogspot, then Wordpress, then another one on a domain, and, more recently, on Steemit.

On Steemit the intention was to somehow close the loop and go again through the images and memories I collected since I started doing photography. And I will continue with it.

Unfortunately, today's pictures are 6 years old, while in college, when I was living in a dorm, watermarked, with no subject whatsoever, except the fact that I was playing with the camera in a lovely morning. Those moments count as well, even though these pictures will definitely mean more to me than to anybody else.

It's been a nice ride so far. No matter how many stops I had, nor how many times I changed my mind, I guess my goal was to find ways to speak my mind and to share some of my pictures.

On this charming, I hope, note, I will end this post. Cheers!
