A productive meeting took place between RISE CEO, Cormac Lucking and RISE’s lead developer, Andrea in Venice, Italy this week. During that meeting they discussed a range of matters from side token creation to streamlining and improving coding efficiency of the RISE core with the transition to TypeScript. An additional key topic that they discussed was how RISE can expand and create relevant marketing strategies to share our mission statement through multiple channels and with as many people as possible. We are aware that integral to our success is improving internal communications between developers and the wider commercial teams. Cormac and Andrea were also exploring ideas to expand our development pool through incentivised recruitment to fulfill items on the roadmap. As

our user base expands we are considering the impact on scalability to increase the volume of transactions per block.
Both Cormac and Andrea insisted that RISE requires a stable and solid foundation in order to handle the future exponential user demand of the RISE network. Now is the time to future proof RISE. As the decentralised application systems, especially for mobile, come to fruition in 2018, Andrea is confident that the RISE core will be in a good state to handle the growing demands. A developer’s blog will also be implemented that will be available in the next week, which will involve an in depth technical analysis about how our platform is being built, as well as a channel for our developers to share ideas and to further discuss their progress with the community.

As some of you know the RISE ICO that was held last year ended on June 24th 2016. Those who did not yet withdraw were given the opportunity to create a support ticket and provide evidence of their claim in order to still receive their tokens despite the expired deadline. Most projects do not give more than a few months time to retrieve tokens, but RISE Vision has decided to continue to process valid ICO claims until January 1st, 2018. As a reminder to users, any ICO claims after the 1st January will not be honored. RISE has given users more than sufficient time in order to claim tokens, as many other companies only allowed a few months for claims compared to our 17 months. Many investors withdrew their RISE promptly after the ICO was completed but there were also people who did not withdraw their tokens on time before the ICO account system was taken offline in January 2017.
