Ripple XRP Set For Success

Ripple? Love them or hate them, but one thing is certain...they will succeed. I'm not exactly sure where some of the hate towards Ripple comes from, but my guess is that it stems from a lack of understanding or research of what Ripple is trying to accomplish. Regardless of the hate or fud, Ripple just brushes the dirt off their shoulder, and plows forward.

Ripple had a monstrous 2017, starting out at around .006 per XRP and ended in December somewhere above $2.00. Ripple's XRP outperformed every single cryptocurrency including Bitcoin. In early January of 2018, Ripple reached an all time high above $3.00, but then fell along with every single cryptocurrency due to a lot of regulation fears and threats of banning crypto altogether in some countries.

Now that all of the ridiculous banning news or fud seems to be behind us, things have started to look up for crypto. Although despite the price fall, Ripple XRP was never down in the positive news category. Partnership after partnership was announced in January and all throughout February, and I suspect even greater news to follow in the coming weeks. The momentum and announcements seem to keep building with each month that will eventually lead to another explosion in price for XRP.

In closing, if you thought 2017 was great for Ripple. Then, 2018 I predict will blow your mind, and any hater of Ripple and XRP will be laid to rest, but not in peace.

I kinda love and hate Ripple at the same time. On the one hand I don't like the coin for the fact that it is centralized on the other hand I love it because of their unique and professional approach. To me it's just a weird crypto. There is one thing I don't understand, I thought that all the partnerships were about the technology and not the cryptocurrency. So if a company decides to implement the XRP tech does this have an effect on the price of Ripple?

Right now the banks that have partnered are using XCurrent which does not use XRP at the moment. One bank, Caullix has implemented Xrapid which does use XRP. Others that are piloting and using XRapid/XRP are Western Union, Moneygram, Mercury FX, and IDT. XCurrent saves around 30 percent if Xrapid/XRP is plugged in it saves them 60 percent. XCurrent is basically the gateway drug to eventually using XRapid. Also, through each XRP transaction, a small fraction of XRP is burned from the total supply.
