Anime Review : Sakurasou no Pet na Kanojo

in #review7 years ago

Sakurasou told of Sorata Kanda, a high school grader at Suimei High who was expelled from his regular school dormitory for breaking the rules by keeping the wild cat he had picked up, so he was forced to move to Sakurasou aka Sakura dorm, a small dormitory whose inmates were students 'unique' as well as brillian. When a girl named Mashiro Shiina comes as a new resident in Sakurasou, Sorata is assigned to be the one who "takes care of her", for though it turns out to be a genius painter, Mashiro can not even take care of herself. Through Mashiro and Sakurasou's unique residents Sorata's life becomes more colorful, and he learns a lot about what is important to him, and what he wants to do.

The Story of Sakurasou succeeds in bringing romance comedy to the right mix, the romantic part is enough to make us touched, but always interspersed with comedy scenes that are hilarious because of the behavior of the characters who often invite laughter even though ecchi sometimes (-___-) "( and thanks to seiyuu performance by Yoshitsugu Matsuoka as Sorata..he was hilarious..wkwk ..) For love storynya in particular, the development of the relationship between Sorata and Mashiro as lead couple own according to I more backward even be lost "stable" and less romantic the moment when compared to the development of the relationship between Sorata and Nanami as his "third person", because the relationship of Mashiro and Sorata is more peppered with Sorata's personal conflicts, between his feelings of love and admiration for Mashiro, as well as feelings of jealousy with Mashiro's extraordinary talent.

On the other hand, Sakurasou is not just relying on his romance-comedy story, but one of his greatest appeals is that Sakurasou picks up stories about passion and inspiring dreams, raising questions like; does one have to keep fighting to achieve his dreams even though he has no talent for it? Is the hard work of the talented person able to pursue the outcome of a truly gifted person? Do we have to choose a way to fight for our passion, what do we want to do, even if it is a difficult path, or allow ourselves to choose an easy and "normal" way of life but we have no inner satisfaction in living it? In addition, Sakurasou also pointed out that being a man of extraordinary talent is not always beautiful, because people with brilliant talents also often hurt people around him without even realizing it, making it difficult for society to accept and difficult to find a companion who can understand and compensate for his brilliant talent.

Pace stories are a bit slow d start-up, and are just starting to intensely start from eps. but as it goes, it was worth ur patience, trust me ^^ as I said before, Sakurasou was able to make the audience cry and laugh at the same time, but not crying for sadness, but more in tears of being moved: '). For plothole, I do not find a meaningful plothole that reduces the overall quality of the story, except perhaps in the character of Mashiro who is so incapable of taking care of himself without reasonable explanation or background.

*Character
In terms of character exploration and development, it seems that Sakurasou did well, each Sakurasou resident has their own uniqueness that has been explored in both the nature and the background and is well developed as the story goes, so that each character in Sakurasou can form a tidy, build each other.
