Review of the film "Alien Strain" (2014)

The world premiere of a new science fiction Thriller with elements of horror called "Alien Strain" took place on August 17, 2014.

Most likely, our film rental has passed by this "masterpiece" of modern cinema, and rightly so, because I strongly doubt that he would be able to collect at least some income.

You can get acquainted with it, however, on any of the sites that are engaged in providing services for free online viewing without any registration of various videos, including movies and TV series.

I love fiction, especially if it is connected in any way with space and alien aliens. That is why I could not pass by this film, reading its title and an attractive description of the plot.

However, it turned out that it, though true, but not enough to spend their time watching this film, desperately trying to understand what are trying to convey the authors of this work, what is its meaning.

What do we see in the plot of this film?

It begins with a confused story of a young man named Matthew that during an exotic picnic in the desert, which were just the two of them, he and his girlfriend Rachel. She suddenly disappeared and found her boyfriend could not, so he came to the police station to ask for help.

However, the Sheriff does not believe in these stories and suspects Matthew in the murder of his beloved. According to the police, the guy had every reason to do so.

The girl got pregnant and began to demand from him to legalize their relationship, which last for years.

But Matthew swears that he is madly in love with Rachel and was glad to hear about the future child.

During the interrogation, he says that just before his beloved disappeared, he saw a flash of bright light in the sky, but the investigator shrugs it off, and the judicial Commission generally makes a verdict that the guy is not all right with his head, and sends him to the psychiatric hospital for further examination.

Not finding have him any serious deviations in psyche of the, and also on the basis absence of evidence, he was released on freedom, but his, as criminal, every year so and pulling on the place, where he lost its favourite.

Besides, a young man haunted by visions, dreams, in which Rachel comes back and tells him strange stories, and asks to be his in the place where she disappeared, because her back one and return.

Behind him follows the Sheriff, who decided at all costs to prove that the guy is still guilty of a crime that no kidnapping was not in sight...

Believed him only girl - journalist, have which under similar circumstances disappeared sister. It is conducting its own investigation, got a job at a secret organization dedicated to space exploration and the search for extraterrestrial intelligence with the aim of establishing contact with them.

After their meeting begin to occur very strange events. On another anniversary Matthew in a terrible state suddenly appears at the same place and at the same hour where she once disappeared.

Returning Rachel is like herself, then strikingly different from the former, and Matthew realizes that something happened to her.

But what?

That is what he is trying to understand, being somehow in another mental hospital, where the good doctor is trying to help him remember everything.

Frankly, the film develops tedious, protracted, uninteresting. The plot is based mainly on dialogues. All in a fog, as in a drugged delirium. From what the ending of the movie you can predict only half, the better it becomes.

The film starred Michael Finn, Laura Gordon, Michael Fenisi, Rolf Saxon, Rachel Dimaria and other actors who played, in principle, at a good level.

There are special effects here, too, good in quality.

It is a pity that the overall impression of this film leaves much to be desired. There is no here nor good fiction, nor those same horrors of.
