My Gaming Setup - Nostalgic Pixel

in #retro7 years ago

Here is the ninth episode of Nostalgic Pixel. This is a look at My Gaming Setup. This video covers not only what consoles I have hooked up but dive deep in how I have them hooked up. This video also covers my history with different video connections.

The heart of my setup for my vintage consoles in the Framemeister. This upscaler has been great. All footage captured for my videos have been using this upscaler for consoles that don't have HDMI out.

I'm playing this on original hardware.

Appreciate the time input for this video! We record in composite for our videos, but I'll definitely be investing in an S video cable now. The Framemeister is nice, but the current price is inhibitive.

S-video is a nice upgrade. If your capture equipment does Component I would suggest checking out HD Retrovision's component cables. Also you might look at a line doubler like the OSSC and now there is the retroTINK. Both much cheaper alternative to the Frameister.
