RE: @joanaltres, Stop it with spamming my wallet with your useless resteem service.

I too was graced with the wallet bomb this morning. I chalked it up to a Nigerian chain email. Did not answer. Like the other Steemian stated, I welcome them to deposit trinkets anytime. Steem On brother!

The problem is many of the newer accounts are falling for this scam and handing over SBD and steem to pay for resteems and while they may get a few more votes they're not covering the costs.

I just completed my second month and I came to realize Steemit looks like a mess. I was encouraged to join because of the format and understood that original content was going to be rewarded. I have little knowledge of the crypto world other than what I read here.

The spamming, F4F, panhandling, downvote tirades, and general lack of a posted & enforced set of rules for the community, makes this a place where legitimate creators of quality content will either avoid or leave in haste. Short of copy/paste content from our main blogging site, there really is not much of a draw. Sad really, because I have discovered some fantastic content shared here from folks like yourself @alienbutt, @gringalicious, @timeshiftarts, @homeartpictures, @denmarkguy, @sirwin, @re-engineer, @winstonwolfe, @woman-onthe-wing, and of course @kaylinart.

I don't post a lot, but I am trying to find my niche. I have a few series started, but life as an engineering project manager in the software industry keeps me quite occupied and allocating sufficient resources to engage in this community is a bit of a struggle. I do make the time to respond to anyone that comments or replies, because that is simply polite.

If everyone is free, no one is equal. If everyone is equal, no one is free.

It is getting harder to get noticed and there needs to be a move against the mass bots owned by an account that abuse the steemit system. that is down to the powers that be to control in whatever way they can come up with so this stays a quality blogging site rather than a scam site.

I have about 250 followers, but maybe 10-15 that actually follow. In contrast, I follow less than 85. These folks I follow because they have content that is actually entertaining or I'm interested in. That list gets purged if users are Idol or just re-Steeming, even if they are "whales". BFD. Yes, a full upvote from a bigwig can put your kids through college (not really), but I refuse to pander for patronage from anyone.

I may just take my ball and go home.

OK, you talk sense... I like Titus and your cactus photographs are awesome.

I followed you (mainly because you didn't ask, you follow some awesome people already and you can engage with @alienbutt so that's always a win).

Thank you! I gave you a follow as well because engagement is the #1 priority in creating a successful community. I believe quality comments and/or feedback is far more important than posts when it comes to communicating with my fellow Steemians. Titus thinks so too. If I could just get him to sit still long enough, I would post more pictures.

Here's one from a year ago when he was just a baby...

Keep on Steemin!

He's SO cute!

That he is. A tool he uses often to get out of trouble!
