Miami little Hole In The Wall Restaurants

Travelling to Miami? Or any Miamian who wants to breath fresher air and avoid from time to time traffic, urban bill and pretentious restaurants, I have my top little whole in the wall restaurants in Miami.

Warning – you go to these places particularly for a gastronomic experience, food is not good…food is excellent yet they don’t have a cool “atmosphere” or a hip vibe to stay for after-meal drinks or conversations.

1. Lung Yai Thai Tapas (Little Havana: 1731 SW 8th St Miami, FL 33135 /Northern Thai)
   Must try:
   i. Bas Trisransi's tom kha gai soup
   ii. Khao man gai
   iii. Or any Pad Thai or curry
   

2. Fresa Francesa (Hialeah: 59 W 3rd St, Hialeah, FL 33010/'Cubanized' French)
   Must Try:
   i. Roasted quail
   ii. Roasted bone marrow
   iii. Seared foie gras slab
   

3. Niu Kitchen (Downtown: 134 NE 2nd Ave, Miami, FL 33132 Miami/unconventional Spanish)
   Must Try:
   i. Cold Tomato Soup
   ii. Homemade Butifarra
   iii. Ous
   

4. Mr & Mrs Bun (Kendall: 15572 SW 72nd St, Miami, FL 33193/Sandwiches)
   Must Try:
   i. San Antonio
   ii. Chi jau kay - perfunctory pork belly
   iii. Ají de gallina bites
   

Please be aware that the top restaurants are for you to go, order, eat, pay and leave hopefully with a happy belly..no frills.
