New subatomic particle discovered
In a major discovery, an international team
of scientists has found a new subatomic particle known as the Ecc++ or the Xi-cc++.The particle belongs to the baryon family and
is made up of two charm quarks and one up quark.The existence of this particle had been suspected for many years but was not directly observed.
Notably, baryons make up most ofthe observable matter in the universe.
