Dodee, Our New Leopard Gecko

Last Sunday, Early in the morning before I went to Escape Room for my 11:30-11 Shift.. Andrew & I went out to get a couple of things done. We needed to get food for our Bearded Dragons & our Leopard Gecko, Asher, Niko, & Huxley. Back in September we went to Petsmart when we saw this baby Leopard Gecko (Huxley) with no tail and he was $10 when they are usually $40.

On the spot, we decided to adopt him & help him recover while growing his tail back. Huxley now has his tail fully grown back and he is doing great! On Sunday the same exact thing happened. We saw Dodee with no tail & this time, he was only $5! It took no thought for either one of us.. we both automatically wanted to bring him home.

Dodee may be small, but he has so much energy! This little guy loves to explore, run, & jump all over the place. As he gets a bit bigger he will mellow down for sure, but I don’t mind him being hyperactive for now.
