As I see it, all the "information" originates from other humans that lived thousands of years ago, anyone that believes in any detail of this info, has more faith in humans than in any "god" or creator. Can there be "faith" if we remove the loony human element that lived thousands of years ago? Lets remove the human element from the equation and see what happens...
Or is it a prerequisite to also have "faith" in humans too?

Here, I'm just focused on refuting the single argument that ""God can't exist because He doesn't comply with the current secular world view". This particular strain of unbelief erects an unattractive, irrational straw man God and then claims God can't exist because that straw man is unattractive to modern culture. I present a world view that would be acceptable to most science fiction fans as a rational hypothetical universe and then suggest that the God of the Bible is even more rational than that.

You have an ancestorist's disdain for people who lived a long time ago.
While knowledge has certainly increased over the past several centuries, the character and intelligence of the human race has arguably been heading in the opposite direction.
Given that hypothesis, the older something is (the longer it has survived) the more highly you should regard it.

I think wackophobe is a more fitting word rather than ancestrophobe.
I don't know, maybe the life expectancy of those with poor character and intelligence in the past was too low and in our days we have more "noise".
This doesn't mean we should accept every old idea/story as valid/true beyond any doubt. Maybe the authors/originators were really geniuses or maybe they were wackos...
I actually have a theory for this that atheists will like:
The human race has lost the benefits of natural selection due to too much peace and safety.
Errors are no longer being removed from our gene pool before they can reproduce causing devolution.

You can view other humans as noisy instruments, with many even being deliberately hostile jammers.
The engineering way to deal with noise is to statistically average many measurements.
With enough of them you can know the truth despite 99% noise.
Because of the huge number of copies and quotes from copies and arguments about quotes from copies during the first few centuries we have a high level of confidence that we have reconstructed the Biblical signal from the noise of human error and deceit.
On top of that, the Bible is massively redundant. All the important concepts of Christian doctrine are covered over and over again in many ways.
People still argue about the fine points, but that is almost always because they choose to filter out content that disagrees with their pre-desired outcome.
For example, if you have the following noisy manuscripts, full of errors, do you have any doubt about what the original said?

The truth is out there.
One other point. Whether we like it or not, God has always interacted with mankind through other humans. We don't really have a choice.
That's thousands of false humans and 44 recognized prophets and apostles.
How do we tell the difference?
It was acceptance by their peers. They either performed miracles or made prophesies that were fulfilled.
That acceptance caused their writings to be treasured, preserved, and distributed back when it was extremely expensive to treasure, preserve, and distribute something.
To survive through time, wars, mishaps, etc. there needed to be enough copies to make up for all those that were lost along the way. So documents had to pass through the same Darwinian survival of the fittest process that the secular world loves so much today.
Finally, once the surviving documents make it down through history to us, and we compare them to extract the most probable reconstruction of the original text, it all comes down to each individual reading it and finding it credible or not.
When I read it, I find it compelling and credible. Others may not.
Yes, but it seems that we need to "trust" them and have "faith" in THEM and in what they wrote. They may talk about faith in "God" but in the end of the day it's all about having faith in humans beings, THEM, that's why I asked to remove them from the equation if we want to talk/speak about "faith in God" and not faith in humans.

Only One God. He is here, always has been and always will be. He has left us undeniable physical evidence that cannot be counterfeited by humans. No need to have faith in man. The Truth is there if only you will humble yourself and be honest. Call out to God in sincerity and He will lead you to the undeniable, factual, scientific proof, that is Truth. Truth you can touch, see, and feel for yourself. With the internet, we have a vast amount of resources of which hasn't been before... And if it has, it has been hidden from us. Do you think it coincidence that the Bible is the most accurate piece of historical writing on the face of the earth? Secular scholars as well as believing scholars will tell you this... The best in the world. Why? Because it is true. Everyday more discoveries are happening that give it more credibility, and it has never... NEVER been proven false. Discoveries have only confirmed.Do a little searching, read "A Case For Christ" (btw, the author was an atheist, dead set on proving Jesus was a fake, only to become a 100% believer when confronted with the FACTS, the TRUTH, from not only the worlds leading scientist, archeologist, historians, and scholars, but also physical evidence) and see how you feel after that read. The Truth is out there. Just humble yourself and be honest. I bet you will be surprised at why you find. I will leave you with one last thought to ponder: If God wrote a book, what do you think it would be? Probably the bet selling book of all time, right?
