A Micropoem
I couldn’t sleep so I wrote this for a Steemit Atheist who doesn’t understand that Love isn’t something you can directly measure - you can only measure the effects of Love but Love itself is a philosophical concept, as is Truth
In Rome, a pagan culture, they would assimilate other cultures by adopting their God’s. What a lot of people don’t realise is that these polytheistic cultures sought to dominate their God’s. So if they didn’t get what they wanted they would ignore them by turning their effigy to the wall.
In a way this has similarities to modern Atheism. Whilst it’s defined as a negative denial of religion, it’s arguments are focused around the control of God. It wishes to bring God down for peer review
which has great similarities to pagan Rome’s approach.
What is unique about the God of the abrahamic religions is that God just is. This isn’t a human made God, which can be argued about other religions views through history, but a significant self declaration of being the one creative force. This force knows about space and time over four thousand years ago and describes bringing everything into being from nothing, which sits well with the Big Bang theory.
Thus I wrote this micropoem
