It's just like a First Date

If you have been following my last few posts List Building has been the center of our efforts.
Now that you are getting subscribers on your list ( why to go!! ) the focus now falls to the emails we send to our list.
Let's start with the first 2 emails we will send out, as this will set the foundation for building our relationship.
If you think about it list building and dating follow pretty much the same process.
We have already created the interest with our advertising, the emails will now become the dating process.

Email #1 this email represents the exchange of information. We have asked for their email info in exchange for our offer. Make this email short and sweet, but we have to be true to what we promised. If we offered a free guide ,report or video send the link in this email.
Thank you for your subscription, here is the link to your free report
This is the first step in building up trust in our new relationship.

Email #2 this email is like the "first date". Take this opportunity to introduce yourself and give some background information on what the new subscriber can expect from your business.
This is one of the most important emails you will send, so be engaging, informative and subtle.

It's important to note, do not get discouraged if the relationship ends after email #2. Just like many first dates, if the chemistry is not there, it's not there.
That is just another good reason why we never stop adding new subscribers to our list.

So there you have it...emails are like first dates.
