Of course it takes a strong man to "handle" a strong woman, how could it be otherwise? Another thing is, that many strong woman don't want to be handled and take weak men as life companions and feel good by "mother-son" kind of relationship...
Believe me, not all the single mothers are strong women and heroes, this is a stupidest stereotype, hate it. :( Many of them are the ones who take the biggest part of blame of the separation, like they cheat, for example (but of course both are responsible). Many of single mothers USE THE KID to MANIPULATE father, to get more&more money, and USE the kid to look great in the society, even if they are really crappy mothers.
