If you want to refuse difficult tasks assigned to you by your boss, you must grasp the following three points:
First, give a sufficient reason for rejection and convince the other party that you do not want to do it, but that you are really powerless. First put yourself in the position to show that you attach importance to this work. This is a preemptive strategy that will not cause the leaders to resent, and then express your regrets, specifically why you can’t accept it. As long as the reasoning is clear, I believe there is nothing impossible.
Second, blindly refusing to open is not advisable. Sometimes, the most dangerous place is the safest place. Although the reason for your refusal is high-sounding, your boss may still insist that it is not for you. At this time, if you insist on refusal again, you will seem a little bit ignorant.
At this time, more evasive words will make the boss think that you are perfunctory, and thus doubt your work attitude and ability, leading to loss of trust in you. In the future work, intentionally or unintentionally will make you miss more opportunities. Therefore, doing so is completely outweighed by the gains. ''
Third, put forward a reasonable solution to show that you are really concerned about this matter. When you cannot accept what your boss told you but cannot refuse, the best way is to find a perfect solution so that the problem can be solved without your hands.
You can discuss countermeasures with your boss, or say: "In this case, in two days, when the work at hand ends, I will start to do it. What do you think?" You can also recommend someone with your own abilities. People with equivalent qualifications also said that they will try their best to help and support the other party in the process of dealing with problems.
