RE: my not so fun funhouse nightmare

in #red7 years ago

The life lived in dreams offers me an alternate world where I can look at myself through "funhouse" mirrors. I am amused by my reflection and see the humor in the distortion. Dreams teach me to not take myself too seriously in my waking life. I have very real days when struggling with what is before me weighs me down. I then consider not to give burdens too much life. What my eyes see is different from what a good friend may see. I cannot chase my friends down to validate everything for me. It's me who must break the mirrors that trick my eyes.

Perhaps in some way, my way of being to the raging woman was outlandish that she didn't know what world she was in. Was she dreaming or awake?

Perhaps our dreams can teach us how to disrupt realities.

I will have to give this some thought. Thank you.
