5 More Curb-Salvaged Items Sold For $623 In The Last 24 Hours! (31 Pounds Saved)
It was a good day across the board. Will I relax or go outside now to find more? You know the answer.
Free inventory personally saved from the curb-side recycling in my neighborhood:
Medical display stand sold online for $425 (25 pounds saved with recycled packaging).
I found this last week and it sold only 2 days after listing it. Shipping with FedEx Ground wasn't that bad since I built my own box to avoid 20% more in dimensional cost by 1 inch.
Clothes dryer control panel sold online for $110 (3 pounds saved with recycled packaging).
Printer print head sold online for parts/repair for $37 (14.5 ounces saved with recycled packaging).
Coffee machine water tank sold online for $35 (1 pound 14 ounces saved with recycled packaging).
Vacuum canister cap sold online for $16 (6 ounces saved with recycled packaging). A very common find/sale.
That's $623 in revenue from FREE inventory before shipping and fees.
I'll have a $90 cash sale on a 35 pound+ item tomorrow.
Bonus:
I used 2 rolls of shipping tape I found on the curbs. One was brand new.
I also used bubble wrap from these two huge bags I saved.
I know that this post isn't long, but the value I consistently deliver is in my hustle behind the scenes, my environmental impact, and to keep others aware of opportunities to help the planet (and ourselves).
Recycling to help OUR environment is my priority. The world needs more people to take our global waste problem seriously with action. Sitting on the sidelines is the fastest way to prove that you don't care, and there's a price to pay for that. Just a few minutes a day makes a huge difference.
Some people talk, speculate, steal, complain and/or are full of it....
Some do the right thing.
I hope more people take action because it's not that hard.
Another recent post of 38 pounds of curb-salvaged items I just sold.
I hear ya with the box dimensions. One inch can cost a whole lot! Damn right I ain't paying if I can make that box any smaller. :D
Sometimes the FedEx counter guys laugh at me when they see my contraption boxes, but little do they know that I made their daily pay in that box for free.
Your content is always so interesting! Have you seen ewaste Ben on YouTube? If not you will probably dig his videos :-)
Thanks for the note and recommendation. I hadn't heard of him, but have since watched several of his videos. He's definitely got access to some great stuff on the curbs there... It seems like a lot of older mid-range value stuff, but super high volume. The stuff I find on my curbs is often of super high value, but not even close to that volume or ease.
