Oyster mushrooms in addition to fried for snacks or meals can also be served as a home menu combined with finely sliced leeks. The interesting thing about this oyster mushroom is its extraordinary texture and also its smell that is not fishy when compared with other types of mushrooms.

Believe it or not, this fungus is also capable of filling anyone. No wonder he is often served along with a roast steak which will be mixed with rice or pasta. This time oyster mushroom recipe will be made as a stir for vegetarian, but if you are not, you are free to add chicken or beef.

Materials needed:

  1. 2 tablespoons olive oil
  2. 5 ounces of oyster mushrooms
  3. four cloves garlic finely sliced
  4. 4 pieces of leek cut 1 cm
  5. Salt as much as you want
  6. Pepper as much as you want

How to make:

  1. Heat the olive oil in a skillet at a moderate temperature but do not get smoky.
  2. Add mushrooms and also garlic, stir-fry for 2 to 3 minutes. Stir by using a spatula.
3.After finishing saute for 2 to 3 minutes, reduce the temperature a little and sprinkle salt on mushrooms and stir until evenly distributed. Cover and cook for about 5 to 7 minutes. Stir occasionally until they remove the liquid and turn it softer.
  3. When the oyster mushroom is already cooked, add half of the onion and salt and pepper pieces. Stir again until blended.
Serve oyster mushrooms with remaining leeks.

Tips:
Closing tightly when cooking oyster mushrooms will help the mushrooms to produce fluids that can help them not to burn.
When cooking, the maximum usable time is 7 to 10 minutes.
If too much fluid, you can cook for the next 1 to 2 minutes by not using the lid to reduce the amount of fluid present.
Also, you can add meat for nonvegetarians, and you can also use peppers to adjust the color to be more attractive.
