Cabbage of Ostracism
INGREDIENTS:
three to four tablespoons olive oil
four ounces shredded carrots
one small onion, chopped fine
half teaspoon ground black pepper
one and half cups water
half teaspoon ground cumin
quarter teaspoon ground turmeric
sixteen ounces chopped green cabbage
five hundred g potatoes, cubes pre-cooked
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a medium skillet fire the olive oil over medium heat. Add the carrots and onion and cook in hot oil about five minutes. Add the pepper, cumin, tumeric, water, potatoes and cabbage and cook forty minutes. Add ninety minutes of cooking time if starting with raw potatoes.
