Really, they are doing it? man, I hope they do not butcher it, it's one of my favorite books of all times. They are going to screw with it I can only imagine like you put it so well a "generic Hollywood mush". They are just doing this because they don't have to pay royalties for it and they cannot come up with any new ideas for a change.
