Random Challenge of the Day Coming to an end.
Well you guys, it's been fun. But unfortunately it's time for the Random Challenge of the Day to come to an end.
I enjoyed each and every genuine entry and I thank you all for participating.
Lately there have been some users taking advantage of my generosity and not following the rules. Let me list some examples:
Plagiarism
Challenge entries that do not make sense or do not follow the instructions for the challenge
And after some research today, I'm fairly certain that there are a few players who have made multiple accounts to enter more than once. While I can't prove this directly, I do know how to use a blockchain explorer and put 2 and 2 together. So....
That's that. I don't have time to police the contest and research every new player that comes on board. And I'm for damn sure not voting on accounts that are doing shady shit just because I'm running a contest.
I'm sad it has to be this way. I made a lot of great friends doing this. Rest assured, if you've been participating on the up and up this whole time, I will not forget you. I'll visit your blogs and give you some love from time to time still.
I expect to lose some followers from this, but honestly.. good. If you're just following me because I have an upvote worth more than a buck, remember this, it's also a downvote worth more than a buck. Maybe you don't want to draw attention to yourself from me...
To the rest of you that have put in hours and hours working on these challenges, THANK YOU! I'll still probably post a challenge or a contest from time to time for fun. I just can't keep it going like this. It's not fun when I have to scrutinize almost every entry for people breaking the rules.

If you decide to continue, I would still play the game for $0.005 upvotes. Not less than that though. I need to get at least $0.009 per hour! ;)
Sometimes I could do the challenge, sometimes I couldn't... but I always looked forward to finding out what they were. Thanks for coming up with such a clever idea to get people engaged. I had a lot of good times playing

Thanks man. I figured it would happen eventually, I just don't have the time to dedicate to it with this level of scamming going on. My kids are getting to the age they need more stimulation than Mickey mouse can provide. I need to step away from the computer more, not increase the time spent. 😂😦
Totally understandable. The kids can use the attention anyways. It helps them know they're loved and important.
That sucks. It almost seems steem is losing its luster. Maybe do your challenges and just choose the best entry? Or just make them even harder? I know alot of them are to hard for me lol
Yeah, it does suck when a few bad apples ruin everyone's fun. Isn't that why we have public shaming? Although, there have been bad apples higher up in Steemit and when they got exposed, no one cared. At least that's what I heard. I wasn't here for it.
Contests in the future will be harder, but it'll be one at time and everyone has a week to complete. I think it's better that way. If I have time one week to do one, great. If not, oohh well. Once Chris leaves for his new job I'll have to take over the grow. I'm not gonna have time to do daily challenges. Especially with all the scammers it's attracted. 😧
im Sure you’ll come up with a plan and also take care of the grow well too lol. I know time to time i loose confidence in steems future but if we all contribute our best it will be fine. But taking a break is probably what the dr ordered so you can come back even stronger 👍
I'm still aiming to post at least once a day, I'll be around. I just want more genuine interactions and the rcotd got overrun with vote chasers. You gotta know when to let go of something. 😩

Awe. I just discovered your interesting, fun challenges. That’s too bad that it has to end. I didn’t even know all that shady shit was possible, but there’s always some dishonest shithead that ruins it for the rest of us.

I would say I'm at a loss as to why people would stoop so low as to scam a contest, but then the things people do for money...
I'm sorry it had to end this way... It was the source of one of my first big earnings ever on steemit. I remember feeling sad whenever i couldnt figure out a challenge, or if it required items beyond my reach. All in all, i think i only got to participate in about five or six....
Wonderful thing you've done though, awesome effort bringing it this far. Good luck with future contest plans. I fear though, that Scammers sadly, may have come to stay on steemit, unless some drastic "i dunno what kinda effort" can be taken.
Everything comes to an end, thanks a lot for the challenges they were very entertaining, sometimes it came from work just to see what new insanity we had to do now, I will miss the challenges but I will continue visiting your wall just to see what is new, I could not participate in the last few challenges, because I come back tired of work, I still have fun with medibang thx for that :D and of course it is comprehensible that you have your priorities.
