police officers have the "authority" and the power to destroy any normal person.
They also lack the ability to do anything to a criminal type person.

Right now, in The US we have the worst of both worlds.
You have a system that is corrupt, and cops that still have to put up the front of not taking bribes.

We have red light cameras and license plate scanning software... why have we only seen tickets for typical behavior and not seen hundreds of stolen cars recovered quickly?
