Oh my god I guess everyone experienced this before! I get used to first type it in microsoft word now to avoid this happenes again. Furthermore, there is draft function in eSteem, you might go give it a shot, though eSteem itself also got several bugs so far...
I used to do everything in word and save it when I had my old laptop that would randomly freeze.
Now I just write and post at the same time. Everything will save on the editor until you hit post, then it's gone off to the blockchain.
I assume there was an orphan block my post got inserted into. That block didn't make it to the chain, and got deleted, along with my post :(
I've lost an article before. I got it to pop back up in my blog by clicking on the link of the article somewhere else. I don't know why it worked. Hopes this helps buddy

Yes. Me too. For me, my Steemit Post turned into random like code like you would see when Nintendo games overheated or broke a bit. There were glitches. Something happened to me too a few hours ago. . Resteemed. Upvoted.

Funny though, I have seen posts in the past that were like the code you explain. I always wondered why someone would take the time to make that post, but now I suppose that's what happened.

'It is a random glitch in the interface' is what they told me.
They said it had to do with traffic overload.
On golos you have to wipe out your last post before you can make a new one.
Maybe this is something that Steemit should look at?
I experience this frequently on Golos and I rarely post there.

I have a golos account that I use to take profits from the sale of sbd when it was 1.7usd to buy golos.
I think golos should trade on par with steem, but will likely lag behind some for the foreseeable future.
I used to post on there more when the payouts were worth more, but now even my vote stopped moving the ui because the whales over there are sucking it all up just as they did here.
I can't tell you what the Russian speakers are up to, I am limited to #en, but it has died off, too.
