indian teens and racism (fair skin , black skin, puberty effect)

in #racism7 years ago (edited)

Alas! It is a common wind moving through the minds of each and every boy/girl in their late teens - It's about Gym & Fitness.
It's the age where we became aware that the attention of opposite gender is important ; Same for self satisfaction, do start really caring about his/her body.
Never mind, he is thin/lean or fit in shape or fat, he do think of building a good body; maybe every youth's dream after a heavy dose of Bollywood/Hollywood celebrities.
The most common scene will be turning out to join Gyms or else some lazy/shy types opting for online shopping - yet the level of dedication still matters , is he going to live with it and barely a 10-20% would make up with that even after age of 30+.

Especially considering India, where 'handsome' and 'good looking' is meant for only 'white tonned' men , The common scene is 'Darker' ones' struggle drop their last sweat in workouts.
Here goes an other group, mentally disturbed maybe teased or humiliated in public for their body shape or even dumbed by opposite gender find Gym workouts as a mean to express their anger.
Later the diversion of Indian teens towards the darker world of 'Drugs' and 'Alcohols' can be successfully replaced by the feeling of fitness. May be this is a better way to drive out stress, depression and frustration that makes the cause of using drugs.
1).png)images(3).png-: It doesn't mean everyone who are depressed should turn to way of fitness. There are men who could 'Handle' it. They do Read books and 'Write articles'. It shouldn't be done to impress anyone but to show the world who you are and what you are made of.
