The reality of DREAMS "Succubus".
Hello everyone
IN SLEEP, THE SOUL IS SHUT UP AND IT'S MOTION DECREASES, HOWEVER, AND PRODUCES DREAMS. DREAMS ARE USUALLY DESIRES THAT HAVE BEEN SUPPRESSED.
Aristotle.
The above quotation is a quotation i came across in the mid 90's, since then it has not left my conscious and sub-conscious mind. I think it will remain with me forever perhaps due to its significance and how true Aristotle was about his definition of what a dream is.
No doubt there are one thousand and one definition but this one made more sense to me than any other one that i came across so far.
You may or may not agree with Aristotle's definition, but there are key words he used for which stroke at the centre of anything that has got to do with a dream.

"the British seem to take great pride in the suppression of emotion",
For example, there are many men who desire to have a woman of their particular inclination. When such desires are not achieved, it may become an obsession. This suppressed desire manifests itself in a dream in the person of SUCCUBUS (succubus is that beautiful demon who makes men have wet dreams)/(Incubus is the Male counterpart). She usually takes the shape of that inclination and makes the encounter more real than real.
There is so much to talk about regarding this issue, but let me pen down here.
