RE: Should family love be always unconditional?
I am not confusing the terms. I'm just posing the question. As a matter of fact, I do not espouse the idea of supporting relatives who have done really wrong things, just because "they're family". That's what most cultures understand as love. Popular culture bombards us with ideas of loving unconditionally as forgiving and forgetting because love overcomes all. Usually, that's what criminal use against their own family every time they screw up.
