[QUESTION] What is the timeline for rolling out the "follow" feature?
I've had may people express an interest in things I've previously posted, but last week when I spent a lot of time writing a new post, it didn't receive enough attention to rise up in the ranks and get seen. Essentially, many of the people who read my first posts totally missed last week's.
The "follow" feature should very much help alleviate this, because it would let whales keep a list of authors they're interested in. Any timeline on this? @dan @ned @dantheman
You can use: https://steemstats.com/#/ by @jesta. It leverages the Follow functionality to provide a stream of the people you're following. It's a great tool, and was why I was able to spot this post so quickly.
More details on how to use it are here, it's real simple. I hope when Steemit do introduce follow functionality the include some of the features on steemstats.
Very very cool. Thanks for the tip!
That site is literally the best community contribution so far! It already was before the follow feature was implemented.
Ye, agreed with @nanzo-scoop that is all i use now. steemstats.com - it can also show you your weight of each upvote you give to get a better understanding of how steemit works. It's is a great tool i suggest using it.
Theres several features users would benefit from, being able to follow is definitely one of them. Steemit would also benefit from having the foresight to tighten up security with 2FA as an example.
