QuarkChain is secure, decentralize and scalable blockchain solution that aims to deliver +100.000 on-chain tps.

In simple words QuarkChain consist in 2 layers of blockchains where in the first level you can have multiple shards and the second level acts like the root blockchain and confirms the blocks of the first level.

First level with increase the decentralization and the second level will retain at least in the beginning the 50% of the hash power to prevent doble spending.

Shardening Power for DApps: Cross-shards transactions will be possible and QuarkChain Network will support smart contracts via Ethereum Virtual Machine.
