At the moment... Finally, I got some fresh vegetable!

in #quarantinelife5 years ago

I was able to buy some fresh vegetables through my neighbor, she happen to know this farmer who delivers fresh produce for free.

I got some squash I decided to cook it with coconut cream, added some cilantro, a dash of salt, ground black peppers, cumin, paprika, and chili powder. Hmmmm it smells good already.

While this cooking, am going to continue dusting my place, this dusts seems like they don't ever go away ha! 😆

What are you guys up to?

Well today I'm gonna be making a lesson for my online English class. Gotta keep the students active and engaged.

Nice, healthy and delicious. Sometimes we get the simplest and pure joy in life when we are quarantined. :)

True 😊

Am grateful that I still have food to eat

Yup, you have made some awesome recipe with ask Little help from your neighbour.

@purepinay, just got home from market, most fresh items were gone, so will get to the local farmers market tomorrow.
Tonight there will be a spinach stew with mushrooms, green beans and other veggies that I have left from last trip to store.
I gotta say, your's looks better than mine!! :) Be well, take care of you,,,

I miss having stew! I have a lot if carrots though it don't have a lit if other fresh veggies to make a vegetable stew, just canned beans and mushrooms. Maybe that'll do?

@purepinay, Sorry this took so long in writing, the old mind got a little overwhelmed recently. :)

Long ago, I found that any stew is good! One time I tried (and it came out soooo good) using coffee as my broth because I ran out of chicken/beef broth. Lots of carrots, turnips, celery and potatoes.. Oh, and a little flower to thicken, and of course, the seasoning you love better than anything else...Oh, and barley...
