Interested in punk rock? MAXIMUMROCKNROLL is a radio program started in the late 70's. In 1982 a collaboration between the show and Alternative Tentacles record label produced the album "All Quiet On The Western Front". The insert booklet for that LP became the MAXIMUMROCKNROLL zine. Founded by Tim Yohannon, who died in 1998, it started as a focus on Bay Area bands but within months had become worldwide. Other projects MRR has created is The Epicenter Record store and 924 Gilman an all ages venue where bands like Green Day and Offspring as well as thousands others got there start. The magazine and radio show are still going to this day.
