Art.

Let me be clear. I don’t care about Diddy. I don’t follow that shit. I don’t care about Jay Z. I don’t even care about tragic little Tupac.

What I do care about is our relationship to art - how it gets created and then how it gets twisted for strictly commercial purposes, that then is used to indoctrinate people, which highjacks art’s truer and more authentic purposes.

And then how that and the money gets used to control performers, so that we get their fancy bullshit from which corporations make billions, and maybe the talent does too ... but only if they do as they’re told ... no matter how sick.

If your kids are into this kind of music or they're into the danker subliminal sides of Disney, you might want to step in and see what ’s going on.

Traditionally, art was something that came up from the roots — like flowers from the ground handed down by family.

Not to be a nostalgic crying towel, but I’m old enough to remember the roots of Cajun music, the roots of Delta Blues music, and Motown too, and and what we’re seeing now is just a bad copy of a bad copy of a lousy show… and a drag show to boot.

Every expression has its place, but this shit is far too ubiquitous and overly promoted to be everyplace.
