The foremost important thing is the history when doctor examined of course asked about the history either the patient is feeling pain in feet or heel or there is any other sensation or hardness in the feet or heel.

The next examination part is asking from the patient either heel painful condition on laying rest or walking running make it or painful or exaggerated.

Doctor can check through the physical examination either there is the sign of redness or inflammation not swelling on the foot.

Furthermore, the feet or can be press to check the softness or hardness or pain examination on touching.

It can be visualise by studying abnormalities on physical examination can also be a parameter to check the planters.

If above conditioner examinations and come the assessment through the test the most frequent as follow.
1: Heel raise test
2: Winndlass test
3: Foot Pronation Test

1: heel raise test: the doctor ask the patient to keep standing on toe if the patient of feel any difficulty in standing it's the positive sign of planters.

2: Windlass Test: the pressure is applied on planter facia by dorsiflexing, if there is a positive and disease its sign of planter facilities.

  1. Foot Pronation Test: this test is performed by observing I am if the patient can roll his feet in word while walking.

Them comes the role of investigation through clinic.

  • X-ray

Thank you for understanding the lesson and sharing your assignment; I hope that you will enjoy this week's lesson and try to implement it in your life if you see any such case.

Observations

Task 1 (2.7/3)
You have shared a great knowledge about plantar fasciitis, it's symptoms, and causes. But you didn't add it's type, acute and chronic Plantar Fasciitis. Plantar Fasciitis can be caused by many reasons and that's good you point out then. Cold therapy and rest is the best therapy for it's treatment and then radiotherapy. I appreciate your effort.

Task 2 (3/3)
In the second question, you tell us about how you have to assess a patient by doing physical examination and history taking, performing investigations and specialized tests. That's good you search out other special tests too. Excellent.

Task 3 (3.8/4)
You try the toe curls, calf stretch and heel raise. You did the heel raise and toe curls correctly. But in calf stretch you have to stretch towards yourself and apply pressure for at least 5 to 10 seconds. Always remember to cold therapy & rest is the best therapy in the treatment of plantar fasciitis. I appreciate your efforts.

Overall you made a great attempt to answer all the questions. I appreciate your efforts. But next time try to avoid the above written suggestions. Keep learning and try to implement your knowledge to the people suffering from plantar fasciitis or any type of heel pain. Thank you.
